MPA Skills and Galvins Plumbing Supplies are proud to host the biggest names in the plumbing industry as part of the upcoming WA Plumbing Industry Expo.
Guests include: The Institute of Plumbing Australia Inc (IPA); Backflow Prevention Association of Australia (BPAA); The Plumbing Products Industry Group (PPI Group); The WA Chapter of the Association of Hydraulic Services Consultants of Australia (AHSCA WA), among many more.
The Expo will be held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC) from Friday, 9 August, to Saturday, 10 August 2024. Visitors will have the opportunity to network with over 40 exhibitors, and attend seminars and product demonstrations on both days.
While visitors will have the opportunity to network with exhibitors one-on-one and learn about their products and services, the seminars and product demonstration sessions offer a chance to gain insight into current trends and issues from industry experts. National presenters include Peter McLennan, the Chief Executive Officer of the BPAA, who will not only lead an industry panel, consisting of Anne-Maree Campbell, Manager WaterMark at the Australian Building Codes Board, David Jongeneel, Assistant Director at Water Efficiency Labelling Scheme, and Levi Robinson, Engagement Officer at Standards Australia, but also conduct sessions sessions on Backflow Prevention Regulatory Overview and Legionella. Neil Savery, Managing Director at the International Code Council, will discuss the increasing international requirements placed on the traceability of plumbing products, among other topics
The event will culminate on Saturday evening with the MPA Skills and Ascora Plumbing Industry Training Awards Night, a 300-person black-tie awards dinner recognising plumbing host employers and professionals at every stage of their careers across various disciplines. We will also announce the winner of the 2024 Plumbing Apprentice of the Year Competition on the night. Check out all the award categories and apply before 15 June 2024.
The Expo is free to all visitors but prior registration is recommended. Morning tea and lunch will be provided. Registered attendees will have access to all communications regarding the expo and will receive a comprehensive expo visitor brochure closer to the event.
